Kebao Yang

Kebao Yang was appointed President of Asia Pacific at the Ammega Group and as a member of the company’s Group Executive Committee in February, 2019.

Previously, Kebao served as Group Senior Vice President and President Greater China for Vestas Wind Systems A/S.

Prior to his work at Vestas, Kebao served as Chairman and General Manager of Caterpillar Qingzhou, Ltd. Kebao also held other executive leadership positions at Caterpillar, including President of Caterpillar Global Mining, Greater China and Korea; Chairman of Caterpillar Langfang AFC; Chairman of Caterpillar Tangshan; Vice Chairman of Caterpillar, Zhengzhou; Vice Chairman of Caterpillar Huanan; and Director of Caterpillar Hong Kong.

Before joining Caterpillar, Kebao served as Executive Vice President in Volvo Construction Equipment (China) Co., Ltd. Kebao joined Volvo from Ingersall-Rand, where he held different leadership roles, including Assistant General Manager of Ingersoll-Rand (Wuxi) Ltd, and Director of Sales & Marketing, Ingersoll-Rand China. Earlier, Kebao had served as Project Manager at Xuanhua Mining & Tunneling Machinery Company.

Kebao’s areas of leadership expertise include growth strategy; mergers and acquisitions; post-merger integration; turnaround and profit improvement; organizational effectiveness; and people development.

Kebao Yang graduated from Hebei Institute of Mechanical & Electronic Technology with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. He also holds an MBA from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, and an EMBA from Shanghai Fudan University.
